Sweet Pickles - Rome

The chicken salad was fantastic, and you absolutely have to try their sweet pickles! I ended up buying a quart to take home. My husband enjoyed them as well! It was great to see my friend and former colleague, Jeff, who is the owner. I highly recommend Sweet Pickles!

This is the best café for a sandwich if you're in downtown. I had the chicken salad wrap and a double grilled cheese sandwich. Just look at the cheese oozing out! The wrap was equally fantastic, especially with the homemade pickles that came with it—so delicious. The gentleman who took my order was wonderful, and the service was definitely an 11 out of 10. When I return to Rome, I already know where I'm heading for lunch!

The owners are wonderful! The tomato basil soup was fantastic—served at just the right temperature. Unlike some places that serve it cold or piping hot, this soup was steaming but still easy to enjoy right away!

Stumbled upon this place walking down the street. I had the prosciutto panini and it was so good! Cute little spot with a good selection of sandwiches and soups! Friendly service and really cute outdoor seating. The tea was also so good because they only lightly sweeten it and it's so refreshing!! Check them out!

In a town FULL of cafes and delis offering Chicken Salad and Pimento Cheese, Sweet Pickles Cafe standa out. The service is unparalleled, the food is AMAZING and the atmosphere is quaint. What they lack in square footage, they more than make up for in heart and quality. Do yourself a favor...when in Rome, try them out.
