The place is a bit small, but makes up for it with excellent customer service and lots of character. I will say, theCuban sandwich I had left something to be desired. The pork was bland, unsalted, and not smoky at all. They were pretty stingywith the stone ground mustard and pickles as well, making the sandwich a bit dry overall. Clearly the focus is on beer, and inthat they are doing a fantastic job. Pleasantly surprising.
Laid back cozy pub with lots of beers on tap and appetizers, flatbreads, and sandwiches to snack on.
When I went it was a quiet night, but the beers were good and the food was tasty. I had the Valhalla sliders and they were awesome! Such a good mix of flavors and surprisingly wasn't that tough to eat despite them being tall and using pretzel rolls. Would've thought I'd make a huge mess, but I didn't. I didn't try the other food options (there were only 3 in total), but I have a feeling I'd have been happy with the other 2.I also enjoyed perusing their little store and fridge section. From what I gather, you can purchase bottles and open them right there which is such a wonderful idea.
Awesome staff and Owner, Gore or Gord I couldn't tell from the pronunciation but great guy! I was down there for work from Michigan my lead Mark was from Tennessee they spoke about mutual interest in bicycling. Great conversation about the area and the owners background. Check the place out I think it's a hidden Gem especially if you like craft beers or get this Wine on Tap!. I found several (beers) I liked and that's unusual for me. Highly recommend!!!
Very expensive craft beer other than that a very nice atmosphere and a humidor
