I ordered mixed drinks and they had no alcohol. The beer from the tap was warm. However, the music was great. I enjoyed the Acoustic Moose.
I had a great time at Wing Night. The .50 cent wings were unbeatable and a good size. Our server was attentive, but it was a bit warm in the dining room.
I visited the Rail and Canal only once since its transformation, but I used to frequent the establishment every Saturday night back when it operated as the restaurant/bar El Chico's. While I don't have any complaints about the current setup, I have a strong preference for and nostalgia towards the beautiful wraparound bar that El Chico's had. Presently, it's a more standard left-to-right bar layout.
Food was good, great portions, water and unsweetened tea tasted odd, service was excellent. Smelled pretty strongly of cigarette smoke, however, I'm not totally sure if it was from the building or others around us.
