Once they get done texting, they will help you. Weird attitude. The lady who works overnight was very friendly and helpful, though.
Note to self, do not stay here again. Older hotel, paid for parking when all other hotels in the area are free. First room air conditioning leaked water by the bucket load. Soaked carpet and stained ceiling said that it had been leaking for a while. Good think I 'm Gold Elite, the quickly moved me to the room across from the elevator that smelled like sweat and desperation. I 'd hate to see where they put the non elite . I 'm eager to leave. Fly out in the morning location is good but you can do better.
Due to the canceled flights out of the Detroit airport nearby, my family and I we able to book two rooms last minutes and thanks to the staff on the overnight shift today and this morning they let us sleep and relax in the lobby and checked us into a room earlier than we could have ever anticipated. The service was amazing and we couldn’t be happier. Special thanks to “Mel” at the front desk.
This hotel was clutch. We got caught up in the crazy flying fiasco and was stuck in Detroit for two days. Went to this hotel at 4;00 am, they had no rooms but let us sleep in the lobby. Had a room for the next night, hooked us up with toothpaste and other needs. Staff was kind and took care of us.
Convenient to DTW airport with a 24 hour shuttle. They also offer long term parking as a separate service. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Tip As for a room on the backside of the hotel, away from the highway.
