I was a little surprised to find out it was the lobby restaurant of the Hilton Garden Inn.When I walked in, there was nothing about it that would have made me think there was something special about it, and I almost turned around and left. But I was hungry and it was getting late, and this I've was still down and serving. I went to to the bar and was greeted by a very cheerful bartender. She informed me they had no Chardonnay, but they did have some Pinot Grigio, so I ordered a glass and looked over the menu. The menu wasn't a standard bill of fare, the were some interesting item on it, and I ordered the grilled chicken breasts with mixed vegetables and red skin mashed potatoes. My meal arrived and I was surprised to see it was a full breast, not a split they were serving, and the sides were plentiful as well.I can't say without hesitation, it was one in the best simple chicken means I've ever had. The beast was grilled perfectly and the butter drizzle was very good. The sauteed veggies were not overcooked and also very tasty, and the red skin mashed potatoes, were excellent as well.If I ever find myself staying near DTW again, I will definitely be back.
Great place as far as hotels go, good wings attentive staff.
Great service, bar/restaurant awesome ?. Clean rooms and great park and fly options.
Stayed here for a NASCAR weekend and the hotel was great. After getting back late a couple nights we were pleasantly surprised about how awesome dinner was at Garden Grille. Great food, friendly staff we ate there two nights in a row. The chicken wings were great (had them twice) and we also had the BBQ Chicken Flatbread, Steak Sandwich (hubby had it twice) and a Crispy Chicken Cobb.
Very convenient hours, good food, nice friendly staff.
