Mugg Bean - Roodepoort

Just enjoyed the most delicious cake at Mugg Bean, CRADLESTONE, today. It was the Honey, lemon and Rooibos Tea cake with lemon yoghurt layers instead of icing. What a taste! Not as sweet as other cakes and deliciously moist. While a storm was raging outside, we had a lovely Affogato as well. Really one of the very best cakes I have tasted in years. That says a lot because I am not really a fan of cakes, because it is usually dry and too sweet. 5* rating for this cake. I will go back for more ... can't even get it out of my mind right now!!

I’ve been coming to this Mugg n Bean for years now. Best service, very friendly staff and we miss one of the managers here, Reuben. Lorraine and even Charles, I appreciate all these guys who really ensure that I get the best service when I pop in. It has become a home now. Never a dull moment. The food is always great which is a cherry on top.

Went back to Mugg Bean today after a long while, and it is still a wonderful place to visit. They are renovating the upstairs area in the Mall, so I will be going back there soon, to see what it looks like. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive and had a huge smile on her face, that made the experience all the better. Well done to the management and staff!! They get my vote !!

I always enjoy the service and the happy faces of the managers and waiters/waitresses and this restaurant. Some of them I always wish they were part of my business team. Today I was welcomed by the manager Lorraine and served by Charity. Good experience as always.
