J J Deli - Roosevelt

A few months ago, I decided to try this place on a whim after my favorite deli down the street closed. I was looking for a spot to grab my egg sandwiches, and I’m so glad I found this one. Their sandwiches are not only better than my old deli, but they're also cheaper! Almost every day, I order a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese with hot sauce and pepper jack on a toasted bun. It’s consistently amazing, and at just $3, it’s the best deal in the neighborhood. I’ll definitely keep coming back for as long as I live here.

Great food and a pleasant spot for a quick bite. The service is outstanding.

Update: This restaurant used to be run by a reputable owner, with delicious food and a consistently clean environment. However, the current owner treats her staff poorly, often in front of customers. The quality of the food has also declined; she uses leftover scraps to make the pork mix for the pupusas. My advice: don't even consider going there—save yourself a trip to the doctor.
