The staff truly goes out of their way to make you feel like family we're already missing our morning walks with Sam and evening yoga sessions with Nancy! The organized tours they offered were fantastic and extremely reasonable, the food changed daily and was always fresh flavorful and the grounds are absolutely impeccable. We have been to 120+ countries, but would put Dominica near the top of our list for ones we want to come back to and can't imagine staying anywhere else other than Jungle Bay. Do yourself a favor and book this now if you're on the fence!
If you are looking for luxury nestled in a jungle while being pamper by nature and still want upscale amenities. This is the place for you. The gym the food the rooms the villas the staff everything is exquisite
Recommended. Lovely villas, beautiful grounds, friendly staff and well located to snorkel spots in SW Dominica. Good, healthy breakfast and lunches. Would give 4.5 if I could, but we felt the evening service in the restaurant wasn’t up to five star standard.
Jungle Bay resort is amazing! I don't believe it's website conveys how great this resort is. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The guides are phenomenal and very knowledgeable. The food is delicious, and the entire property is outstanding. We paid for the Adventure package, which was the best thing we could have done. We were active every day. We hiked, snorkeled, laid at the pool, did yoga, went to the spa, toured the grounds... and ate delicious food for every meal. Jungle Bay's philosophy is sustainable eco-tourism...I cannot say enough great things about this resort and the people who work there.
Probably the best all around accommodation on the island (I stayed at 3 including a jungle Bay). Jungle Bay melds first class accommodations with a rustic environ. The fact that much of the food is local from the fields surrounding the hotel is a major plus. The views are gorgeous and you are lulled to sleep with the sounds of the jungle surrounding you. The food is a beautiful harmony of local cuisine while attempting to cater to the basic continental crowd (I personally stayed away). The salt fish and coconut bakes are insanely good, so why bother with anything else. The hotel is located in the south west of the island but it’s about a 40 min drive to all of the major points of interest. Don’t forget about the amazingly huge and airy yoga studios, perfect for those who enjoy a group setting or do their own thing. All in all an amazing stay. I will be staying again, when I return to Dominica.
