Truluck's Ocean's Finest Seafood Crab Rosemont

A beautiful place and atmosphere. eating was average, especially considering it's a high-end restaurant. they pay for the atmosphere. I would not hurry to go back, especially in contemplate other options that are available.

We had a nice standing near the front so we could hear the entertainment in the bar area. our server new the menu well and were very attentive. I had the best seabass that was a beautiful size and perfectly prepared. my date had the tuna that was prepared for his request. both were delicious, like the crawling. I was surprised that my birthday dessert was a baked alaska who had it in 30 years? presentation was excellent and the dessert was sooo good.

It betrays me to leave this review. trulucks is our favorite restaurant since its opening in rosemont and we were there countless picturesque with our experience, nothing less than spectacular. it was our goal to take guests from the city and to celebrate every birthday and special occasion quite. last night we made a last minute reservation and sat in a stand in the bar. we got in the bar in the past the service and eating the perfection we expected. that all changed last night. the service was terrible. the female server came about five minutes after sitting to our table and said she would be right back to take our drinks orders. she did not return more than twenty minutes. we placed our entire order when she finally came back. the ponzu starter and keilsalat were very good. the hummerbisque, while still amazing, was served in a small suppening cup. if they pay $19 for the suppe, at least serve it in a full size bowl, so the presentation corresponds to the price tag. the chilenic sea bass of my man was mediocre, and my steak, the medium was rarely ordered, came well done and cold. No one came to check how we did it or whether our meal was satisfactory. the amount of time between the food that comes out was extraordinarily long, almost half an hour before our main course came from our last appetizer. our menus sat on our table throughout our meal, although we really appreciate the new backlit design of the menus. one of the few paintings that the server actually came on our table, it has water blown into our glasses and all the table. When we were gone, I briefly spoke to the person responsible who let him know of our experience. he only said very pleasedly that he is sorry that we had an evening and call before we came next time and would not happen again. we were so excited to dinner at trulucks and I am not sure we will return after that.

Such a fabulous restaurant. We sat at high-tops in bar and perfect. Loved the singer/piano. The light-up menus were cool. Our server was top-notch and very accommodating for my food needs. Very interesting people watching.
