Not only did Charlie make us feel super comfortable, they were quick to let us know about any substitutions and also asked if we had any questions about the menu. 100%deserved their 45$ tip, because high schoolers aren't exactly sure on how much is appropriate to tip.
There were only 3 tables in total at the restaurant. At 2 in the morning, there were 2 servers, but I hardly saw them except when ordering and receiving my food. I had to search for them to get a box and the check. No refills of tea were offered, and the floor was dirty. It felt like nobody cared about cleanliness or service standards. After being there for 8 hours, I could have used more tea. The $25 price tag for just an omelet and tea seemed too expensive for what I received. Overall, it was not worth the cost.
The food is good, but the Madison location is superior. We are still loving the kids' menu and the banana milkshake is definitely worth trying!
I had,.. hah fooled you! I had a burger! Yes they serve more than pancakes. The burger was good too. The onion rings and milkshake were a good as well. The staff were attentive and courteous. We stayed for quite a while and they never made us feelrushed.
Amazing brunch. Got a bacon burger with a side of (the crispiest I've ever had, with perfect soft interiors) onion rings with a side of hash browns. The hash browns have an almost buttery taste that was simply amazing, perfect golden crisp on the top butperfect and soft on the bottom. The burger was really good. Not a lot of restaurants really have too much flavoring to thepatty itself, but this was pretty good. Naturally the bacon on the burger (being served by a breakfast diner) was crispy andflavorful. Don't ask me why, but the manager himself served and waited our table, and it was excellent service. When even themanager does an amazing job serving and waiting you know the staff are good. The place was noisy, but it was a Saturday morningso that's to be expected. On a side note, they offer mountain dew. I don't really see a lot of places offer that. Admittedly Iwas skeptical since I rarely (if ever) eat at IHOP, but it was a lovely surprise. If you're in the area, stop by. Edit07/03 Went back again today and had the buttermilk pancakes and a side of hash browns and it's some real good stuff
