Only redeemed point of the visit was with a $20 credit but had to spend $60! with the covid19 we went to lunch and reservations with opentable. restaurant was empty with maybe 5 other tables of small groups there. the service was creepy to fit the food. had to brot together with remembrance of food that did not place. has given an inexplicable amount of time for eating lack of patrons. the quality of the food was best mediocre when and when the food arrived. had to ask why we did not get bread with our meal which was a premonition for the meal. fried oysters were soggy and tasteless and not “Cajun”. Baked green tomats that accompanied oysters were also soggy. steak was badly cooked. Tuna presentation was haphazard. Forget our truffles, which when they came, were fryed with truffle oil with concrete on oil and not available truffle flavor. Beverage refills have been forgotten. our server seemed to have an excuse for everything, but could say it was inconspicuous. would someone eat in this m
Overall great restaurant! The food was delicious. I had the twin lobster tails with the lobster bisque potatoes, yum!! My husband had a NY strip and my sister a ribeye and they were cooked perfectly! The garden veggies were yum as well. We had the apple pie dessert...nice restaurant with reasonable prices and great food! Cocktails were good too
I made reservations for 2 on my husband's birthday. They said we could eat outdoors and it was open seating, but the empty tables all had Reserved signs. Back to request a booth indoors. We were seated waited 20 minutes for any attention. Finally bread and water were offered while we waited another stretch of time. I reminded the hostess it was a birthday. Water came eventually, no bread. Server rushed past our table saying he would be right back. Another wait. Server came back and took drink order, said he'd bring bread. Drinks came and we placed our order for appetizers and entrées, still no bread. We were seated for over an hour before appetizers were served, no bread until half-way through meal. 2.5 hours after arrival, we left with a couple of short apologies for the delays and no mention of the birthday, no complimentary dessert, or drink for the multiple delays. My husband did enjoy his meal. But it was not at all what I had in mind for my husbands birthday.
We love McCormick Schmick because it is truly dining. The service is always top notch and the quality of food outstanding. We like the specials they offer each month. The Jake's special for February was amazing.
