Trattoria DiMeo - ROSLYN HEIGHTS

My wife and I had a great dinner together tonight - first off, the prices are high but look where the restaurant isRoslyn.

This is by far, hands down my favorite Italian restaurant!!! I have been dining here for the past 17 years and I can never get there often enough.

The waiter was friendly and professional, but had too many tables. The food was salty and had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. He used to enjoy this place, but will probably not be back now.

Our family of 6 had a really fabulous dinner because we were lucky enough to have the private room. It was the perfect place for the last night of our vacation. We come back every year and don't eat dinner until the last evening of our trip at Tucci Benucch. It has become a family tradition. We love the breadsticks with delicious olive oil, the wine prices are reasonable and there are Italian wines on the list. The food is delicious and the portions are large. Our server was really great too!

This was our third visit to this restaurant. We were not disappointed with our choice of where we would like to have our 25th anniversary dinner. The staff didn't know it was our anniversary, as we didn't say, but we were treated well and the food was amazing!
