I went to the bathroom and when I came back to the table, there was a wheel of cheese, zucchini in special oil, and a basket of assorted focaccia and crostini. A unique addition to the experience. Appetizers were Caesar Salad and Zucchini Flowers (which I do not ever see on menus). Salad was mediocre and the flowers were covered in breadcrumbs, which took over the flavor of the zucchini; however, the warm ricotta cheese was delicious on the inside. For our mains: Gluten-free penne bolognese, Summer Truffle over Filet Mignon, Summer Truffle House-made Pappardelle. The bolognese was beautifully seasoned and flavorful. The filet was absolutely delicious and the sauce paired with it was perfect; asparagus was nicely grilled and seasoned. The pasta was perfectly al dente and creamy sauce was superb. Our waiter shaved truffle onto the steak and pasta—the best touch. Service was attentive; David was old-school and explained the specials in detail. The check did take a little bit to get to the table. As a side note, portions are on the smaller side, but I actually loved enjoying each part of the meal without it being overload. My type of meal. The table next to us seemed to be having the best time, so I don't fault them for being “noisy,” but just having fun. Overall, pleasant dining experience and cannot wait to return to try other specials!
The service tended to everything from new silverware after finishing a plate to refilling our glasses. Food was phenomenal. I had the veal marsala and it just checked every box for me, very delicious!
The restaurant was very pretty and elegant. Service seemed a bit scattered. The food was just mediocre. It was either over seasoned salt or garlic on some dishes and bland on others.
Excellent service and the food was very good. The beef carpaccio was excellent, the chicken paillard was good, but a bit bland. The linguine and clams was tasty with the clams a tad rubbery. The panna cotta was fabulous. We will come back and try dinner.
Service was very good. Food is above average but expensive for what it is. Only complaint is the techno music they play it was terrible and does not match the vibe or elegance of the restaurant.
