The person who received us and took our order has an exceptionally unfriendly attitude. As if they are upset, eat and drink in their place! Weird! Otherwise and among the items on their relatively bad menu, the pumpkin soup is really good. House white... Wein is also good.
We stayed of pure chance and it was an amazing find. Hidden behind Main Street, you can just walk by and not know. Traditional local dishes and large self-made wines make this an unforgettable visit. We had pumpkin soup, mushroom...tagliatelle and children Schnitzel. You cooked. The Veltliner, speciality of the region is also very good to go with the meal. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Very recommended
The lunch, outdoors in the garden, was tasty but quite expensive. The best was the soup of the day: tomato-apricot. The rip-off was the 1.1euro that they charged for each semmel (roll). The setting was lovely but we spent more here for a modest meal...and a bottle of wine than we did for a full meal other places.
Simple but delicious food, based on local fresh ingredients. Vegetarian options. Nice outdoor seating in season; great for families with children. And the wines are excellent!
