Flying Steamshovel Inn - Rossland

Get a table by the pool table and stroke a few shots with regulars or your own friends. Its a very casual place with respectable foods for the family.While is seems like a bar there were families in there having a good time. Its worth the hike up the short hill after a day of skiing.

We had dinner here with some friends. The menu is varied enough to be interesting, without being overwhelming. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the drinks menu also has enough variety to keep most people happy. The food is reasonably priced and all in all it is a good place for casual dining. Just be aware that there are TVs in the pub and they also do have live music - so this can be a distraction.

So this is a pretty large pub, with a smaller outside seating area (to the rear on the balcony.) It's got a pretty large menu of decent pub grubI have to admit I was feeling pretty poorly (a bit of sunstroke) so can't really comment on my meal, but my husband loved his and people who were only in for one night - we really felt welcomed!

We go to this restaurant a fair bit. The food is tasty and the portions are huge. There is a nice selection of healthy items and we've had some very good salads. It is a busy place especially on weekends.

Clean and a bit rustic. It was severely understaffed when we showed up, but the waitress on duty was doing her best to keep everyone served. The beer was good and they had several local breweries that change from time to time.
