Hook Reel Cajun Seafood - Rossville

First time ordering and did through carryout. Ordered the catfish basket and lobster bisque. I asked for a spicy sauce for catfish and it was tasty. The lobster bisque was delicious and on point. So although the catfish was good, it was soft greasy as well as the sweet potato fries. It was like they were cooked in grease not hot enough and absorbed the oil. I will try again based on the taste of food. Maybe this was the B team cooking today.

I had the crab bites, which were fantastic. I also tried the Mini Boil (shrimp (head off), sausage, boiled eggs, and a special spice blend). While it wasn’t the best boil I’ve had, it was decent. However, the spice mix didn’t really stand out, which is somewhat expected from a chain restaurant. The corn was disappointing though. As for the VooDoo Lemonade, it was not great—cheap liquor with insufficient lemonade to mask the taste. On a positive note, the atmosphere was pleasant, and our waitress was exceptional!

Absolutely delicious! I went for the second time, and it was my girlfriend's first visit, and we both loved it. We ordered two of the pre-made boils, and the crawfish were amazing, especially with the Hook and Reel seasoning. The service was fast and friendly, and our food arrived very quickly! We will definitely be returning!

I've visited this restaurant several times, and the food is consistently excellent, featuring a delightful Louisiana style. I particularly enjoy their hush puppies and catfish po'boys, but everything on the menu looks tempting. Their special blend sauce is fantastic as well. The staff is just as impressive as the food—always friendly and very attentive. Additionally, the prices are quite reasonable for what you receive.

We order here through doordash more than a handful of times. I love their hush puppies! Food is always good.
