Big Oak Tavern - Roswell

We really enjoy going to Big Oak as a family. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is excellent!

The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly. The food tends to be on the salty side, which is perfect for those who enjoy that flavor profile.

I love the environment, the music, and the service. I do recommend the black wing and the lamb shop.

Sat evening 6pm. Sat at the bar, listen to shabbily dressed bartender tell a customer he was unaware of the prices of various red wines, and couldn’t explain why the red wine was kept in a cooler, which apparently is a no no. Ordered mussels as a appetizer, and they were great, lemony, garlicky, jalapeños, just great. I ordered a rack of ribs, which were huge, unfortunately, also cold. Wife’s hamburger, ordered medium, served well done. Not sure I would go back, lots of other options in Roswell.

Went during restaurant week to give it a try. I was impressed with the food. It was very delicious and appropriately priced (and I'm a foodie)
