I stumbled upon the Guckloch as I was walking about the town and wanted to get some dinner. It's right next to the stairs leading up to the town wall near St. Wolfgang's church and the Klingentor. The outside seating was very welcoming and the...prices looked reasonable from the posted menu. Although my waitress did not speak English, she was very friendly, responsive and quick. I had a Weiss beer and my currywurst with pommes arrived promptly afterward. Everything was delicious and cost me less than €10 which is a steal! The Guckloch food menu is short but offers traditional German pub food with a plethora of drink options (all very fairly priced). I would highly recommend this small Pilsbar even if it's a few steps out of the way during your time in Rothenburg ODT.

Ich bin mit meinem Mann und unseren Sohn im Januar 2015 von Brasilien nach Deutschland geflogen. Wie lieben alle Orte, die wir bestanden, waren wir sehr gut durch alle empfangenen. Eine dieser Orte war die Guckloch Pilsbar in Rothemburg ob der Tauber. Krista war sehr gastfreundlich. Wir wollen dieser wunderbaren Orte zu besuchen wieder!

Ci abbiamo fatto uno spuntino veloce e devo dire che i prezzi sono onesti e le birre buone. Il locale non è il massimo della bellezza e poi una delle titolari o camerire che girava a piedi nudi non da una bella immagine così come la presenza di alcune macchinette videopoker sul fondo del locale, a dire il vero uno dei pochissimi locali che ho visto nel mio giro in Germania con queste brutte macchinette. In ogni caso non è del tutto negativo il giudizio ma ripeto ho visto di mi meglio in zona
