The tearoom is located in a small covered shopping area, so it may not be the most picturesque spot. However, there is outside seating available for those who enjoy people watching. Inside, the atmosphere is pleasant with a mix of formal dining tables and relaxed seating. I was surprised to discover that it offers a combination of a tea room and a carvery, which may make it struggle to define its identity. But in today's world where people enjoy coffee shops and carveries, why not! While I didn't have a full meal, I noticed that those looking for more substantial food options appeared to be pleased with the offerings. Personally, I highly recommend the sausage sandwich, which was served hot and generously portioned with four links of sausage for just £1.99. Overall, the tearoom was a nice, functional, and great value option. The staff were pleasant, personable, and down-to-earth. I was satisfied with my choice for a brunch of coffee and sausage sandwich.
I mean old-fashioned in the nicest sense, proper pleasant service, friendly, attentive, nice tea and cake, just what I needed as a break from a few drinks! Well recommended.
We only had a tea/coffee but it was a very inviting and welcoming place and would love to have stayed and had some of the delicious home cooked foot. The ladies were very friendly
I stopped by this café just for a coffee while shopping, and I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The lady who served us was friendly, and it was a refreshing change from the run-down shopping center in Rotherham with many closed shops. The café was clean and inviting, and I will definitely be returning.
