Food is great. Love, love, love the sushi. Dining room and bathroom could use some sprucing up, but otherwise, food is fantastic and staff is friendly. Highly recommend!

Nice meal, great presentation, good service, good food. If you are Celiac use caution. The restaurant does a fair job of identifying items that contain gluten as well as providing a GF soy sauce. Unfortunately artificial crab is used in a lot of the sushi rolls (contains gluten). We had spicy crab rolls, salmon rolls, tried two different eel rolls and of course the good ol' stand by - California rolls. All were delicious and tender. Mid week they offer some BOGO deals worth looking into.

We love Japanese food and have ate this restaurant before. With all the great restaurants in the area we choose Boaz for a special evening, what a mistake it was terrible. The service was terrible we had to keep going and finding a hostess for simple service eg. drinks, silverware. I have ate at Japanese restaurants all over and I have never had such bad gyoza dumplings they were nasty. The katsu and bulgogi was cold. At the end of the meal I had to go upand ask for bill and the girl asked me how our meals was I told her not very good and explained things were cold and the meal wasn't very good and the reasons whyor up to the standard of Japanese food. Her answer " oh well here is a piece of chocolate for dessert. She didn't apologize or respond. I paid the bill and went from disappointed to unhappy. I guess I should of been grateful for the chocolate cause no one asked if we wanted dessert or anything for that matter while we ate our meal. On another note though they were turning people away at the door for supposed reservations there was only one other table with people so there wasn't a reason for such poor food and service. With four servers and two tables they should of been better

Staff were very nice and food came quickly. Sushi was very fresh and chicken dish was perfectly cooked. Although kind of plain, don't let the look of the place deter you.
