Rothsay Powerhouse Grill/off Sale

The food was amazing, and despite the staff being overwhelmed, we still received good service. However, during our visit, it became painfully clear that the owner and some patrons held overtly racist and discriminatory attitudes towards others. We found ourselves locked out on the fenced deck by customers who assumed we were gay, and the owner even seemed to encourage this behavior. We had to call just to be let back inside to settle our outrageous bill. Overall, it was a troubling atmosphere, and we honestly didn’t know how to respond. If you love the food and really want to enjoy it, I highly recommend ordering takeout or opting for one of the many other excellent restaurants in the area.
