Yesterday was the first visit for 2 months after being away and I understand there has been a change of ownership. The coffee and service is still the same but I was devastated to find my absolute all time favourite vegetarian 'Moroccan Tostado ' had been replaced with a poor alternative named the 'Vege Tostado the original was the best vegetarian sandwich in town and the reason I visited the cafe so frequently please bring it back!

A very rustic European atmosphere, one of the best coffee spots in Rotorua. Good quality food is available however seating is limited and one should be aware that this isn 't a working coffee shop, rather a place to chat and relax. It is located in the same building as a European import grocery store so you can do some shopping too. A must try if you 're visiting Rotorua. Edit: 'Working coffee ' means a place where you can go to do work (study, online work and reading) and have a coffee.

Incredible coffee shop. The best coffee in Rotorua. Good selection of muffins, rolls and sweet treats. Located inside the Mediterranean store.

Nice selection of food. We had a ciabatta from the display case. Very good. Also had a lemon tart and a blueberry almond tart. Yummy. Also, coffee was delicious best in Rotorua. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Worth a visit.

I loved this place! Good coffee, nice selection of food. There are several tables that seat 4-6 and a large table to share. The big table is covered with interesting cookbooks and mags. I may just pop in for coffee and culinary inspiration again soon.
