China Kings Palast - Rottweil

Maybe the restaurant has improved but my experience was very different from some of the other reviews. I went with my daughter and we both had the buffet, there was a good variety of tasty food which was constantly being refilled. The staff were prompt and friendly and there were a lot of obviously local people dining. It’s definitely worth a visit.

They have a buffet and al a carte. We were a group so did the buffet. I'm not a fan of buffet Chinese food really anyway. I think the food is full of MSG, or else other flavour enhancers, and there was hardly a vegetable in sight. The hot and sour soup was terrible. I doubt anything was made fresh from scratch. A very confident rat joined our table toward the end of the night, and really had to be chased out quite vigorously by a seemingly unsurprised and up embarrassed set of staff.

I can say this restaurant served good food but it's not strong enough to let me coming again and again. The waitress and price were OK. Welcome anytime if you like. Me? No, thanks, except someone will invite me to come for a celebration there. Who says there'll be no free lunch in this world? Haha...

It has been a very fast meal and shoprt visit. Everything was OK
