Domaine Michaud - Roullens

Eating is always very good. sometimes the level of excellent varies somewhat between the different curses. in the august was a very charming waiter part of the team.

We were booked for the bastille at night, but it was canceled so that we went to the birthday party today. everything about this restaurant meets the place. perfect and friendly service and eating that was excellent in each course. we had the luck of traveling the world, but today's lunch was the best we ever had. excellent aromen, excellent presentation, excellent service, excellent presentation. I can't take it higher

The restaurant experience could not have been better. as inept french loudspeaker, the maître d immediately turned into perfect English to remove the stress completely, and there was absolutely no sense that this was a hindrance. the Kovid procedures were encouragingly thorough and made us very safe! we have never experienced such wonderful, attentive service, yet such a brilliant intimate and special atmosphere. that was eating, honest, magical; my friend is a prestigious herbal skeptic and I was maybe a little nervous about this experience, but literally everyone was torn off from us both easily. there has been a new look into the food, and we will take the effort to return; annually, as long as the financial allow! the wine and alcohol options were also excellent I chose my bottle quite whimsical, but it turned out to be really delicious. innovation and quality was an absolute joy, and I feel an anomaly in today's restaurant industry. we are so grateful for the attention and friendliness we received and would recommend this restaurant with absolutely no hesitation. ps: note that we do not have the tasting menu specifications in the (small ordered) photos, this is because we do not, have them, and this added to the excitement! unfortunately we also forgot to photograph the most delicious competition four.

We have eaten at Domaine Michaud many times, over many years, and always look forward to finding a culinary surprise … or a subtle twist on a favourite dish. Last night surpassed ALL our expectations. Amongst the four of us we tried pretty much everything...on the menu including a special vegetarian main course and there was not a single morsel left on anyones plate … extraordinary! We shall be returning very soon.

Enchanting dinner on a hilltop edge terrace overlooking the forest and fields with views beyond to medieval Carcasssone and the brooding Pyrenees. Nothing to hear but the clink of cutlery on crockery, the fizz of the Blanquette de Limoux and the gentle buzz of the...occasional cicadas. Service was welcoming and unhurried and the Dutch influences into the local dishes explained for interest. We had 4 courses with matching local wines well selected to accompany very sophisticated technical dishes. The lobster with espuma purée and bacon was packed with flavour and the monkfish beautifully cooked and presented alongside local garden vegetables. The cheese plate an interesting combination of French/Dutch served in running order of increasing strength. This is a proud family affair and rightly so, if you get chance do treat yourself—-very reasonably priced even with matching wines. Food and views for the soul.
