Contribuisci feedbackOn vacation and camping near by. We didn't feel like cooking so we found this place while searching. So glad we came in. The food was fresh and delicious, the atmosphere and service were both great. Our server was friendly and we had a nice conversation about why we are visiting. He was sure to check in and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We just may need to plan another trip to come back here.
This is my first time. It was the best reviews close to great country farms. The location is great The staff very friendly and super nice The setting is very nice The cider was great, perfect The food !! My son's chicken finger returned it as there was HAIR in it! This was a deal breaker The salmon was not well done! And didn?t even finish half of it The burger was good, steak for kids was good But we didn?t enjoy the experience of seeing a hair in the food in spite they change it and they apologized, I do hope to revisit it and hope that my next review will be more than 2 stars
So, I gave it 5 because it?s really one of the best places in the area. Only other comparisons are breweries with limited and so-so menus. But this place consistently delivers. Have been here three times in the past month and while the beer options are slightly limited, what they offer is quite good. But it?s the sizable menu that is the star and a bit more elevated for pub food. This time around we had the schnitzel (dynamite! , tacos, fish chips and quinoa bowl with steak. The schnitzel was perfect, crisp and smothered in a mushroom gravy. The tacos are always tasty. The fish and chips had a pleasant, herby (I believe it was dill , and freshly prepared tartar sauce that I wish I had the recipe for. Lastly, the quinoa bowl was very flavorful from the apples to the cranberries and the dressing but it was the addition of a protein, this time steak, that was the wow factor. It?s was an additional $9 but it was a huge portion. However, it did seem light on the quinoa; next time I may ask for the dressing on the side so I can add as much as I like.
We visited More Better for lunch on a lovely Sunday. Although it was a bit too chilly for outdoor seating, we only had to wait 15 minutes for a table, even though we were initially told it would be a 45-minute wait. The restaurant offers both a lunch/dinner menu and a weekend brunch menu, but they don't provide physical menus; instead, you need to use your smartphone to view the options. There are plenty of choices available, including vegetarian options. We ordered fish and chips, a crab cake sandwich, and a Caesar salad. The food arrived promptly and we enjoyed our meal, although I was served the leftover bits of French fries, which was a bit disappointing. The coleslaw was delicious. The bar features a good selection of beers, mixed drinks, and unique cocktails. The dining area has a very relaxed atmosphere—there's no sense of being rushed. Additionally, the building houses a wine and beer store, a gift shop, a bakery, and a sandwich shop. It's definitely worth a visit; you won’t be disappointed!
We've been visiting More Better for some time now, and I must say, their brunch and lunch combo on weekends is fantastic. I opted for the traditional farmer's breakfast to keep it simple, knowing I would be cleaning up the kids' leftovers. It was exactly what I needed—the eggs and sausage were cooked to perfection, and the potatoes were nicely seasoned and thoroughly cooked as well. My wife chose the enchiladas rancheros, which had a great flavor. The chorizo wasn't overly spicy, but it had just the right amount of heat that complemented the dish. She said it was a hearty breakfast and something she'd definitely order again. Our son had the French toast breakfast, which was also very good. I'm thinking I'll get that next time we're here. For families with little ones who prefer straightforward meals, the chicken tenders kids' meal was excellent, served with fries and fruit. We also shared a cinnamon roll at the table, and my only regret is not getting one just for myself. It had a lovely flaky crust on the bottom, while the inside was warm and gooey.
