Panera Bread - Round Lake Beach

What has happened to my favorite Panera?! This location in Round Lake Beach, IL used to be top-notch, but recently there have been some serious issues. The bakery items are overbaked, such as the bear claws which are often lacking in filling and barely have any icing. The French baguettes are flat and tough to slice with a sharp knife. I recently ordered a breakfast sandwich with sausage, and the patty was shrunken, tough, and dry, as if it had been microwaved. Unfortunately, it was a to-go order so I couldn't get a replacement. This is very out of character for this Panera and it is disappointing.

Great panra, delicious food, and Sophia is a very attentive manager.

I love the employees! They are always so nice but if possible this Panera should put the chocolate croissants on DoorDash

In general Panera is pretty good but this specific store seems to be where employees are sent as a last resort before they get fired for not doing their job. Every time I'm foolish enough to go to this store, they get my order wrong, and most of the time they act like we have to throw this away, so why don't you just eat it and not make us fix your order correctly If I'm paying them for a service, I expect them to do it right, not make me accept their mistakes.

Your website to place order for delivery is not user friendly. I tried to place an order it only took half the order there is no easy way find out what is in your basket. Needs to be updated I will not use again
