The prices for the barbecue were reasonable, but since we didn't want to spend too much today, we opted to share a two-meat plate. We chose double brisket, served with fries and mac and cheese. The brisket was well-cooked and tender, though it could have been a bit more flavorful. Luckily, the barbecue sauce was excellent, so that made up for it. The fries were perfectly seasoned and delicious, while the mac and cheese was incredibly cheesy and creamy. It was just the right amount of food to keep us satisfied for a few hours until we got home. Our server was very welcoming, and the restaurant had TVs showing the day's college football games, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere.
This was my first time visiting Round Rock, and having lunch at Liberty Barbecue was definitely the highlight of my trip. The Liberty Burger was absolutely spot on—the bread was perfectly toasted, the meat was grilled to perfection, and the fries were excellent as well. My server, Amanda, made me feel very welcome. Since I live in Switzerland, I may never return, but I'll always cherish the memories of my visit there. Service: Dine-in.
One star because they were closed despite stating they were open on Google.
