Trotwood Restaurant Bar - ROUND TOP

This was our first restaurant after arriving in the area from the state and it was not disappointed. We had made a reservation, but the relatively empty space made this moot. What we found was an environment that was super chill and Zen, with good service and a perfect evening meal after a day traveling. We started with a local beer and checked the menu. After deciding that the chicken (7 pieces) was too much for just me, the food we finished order was amazing. (the online menu can be something different than if you go so prepared). The burger was really as good as they roast, and I am obsessed with the celery root al pastor. The Cavatelli was also amazing. Definitely on my list of restaurants for the next time we are in the area!

What a little jewel in the middle of nowhere. The dishes were all exquisite, and the decor divine. I'd drive the 2 hours for this experience again.

Breakfast burrito, **** Mary and mimosas gorgeous! Very friendly and charming staff, and I loved the music (very calming 60s easy listening jazz with Mad Men vibes). We only stopped in for brunch as we were exploring the area but I would love to return for a stay at the inn.
