Auberge Le Robur - Roure

Gorgeous spot. Michelin dinner experience delivered in your room due to Covid. Very safe. Incredible breakfast. Worth every penny.

We stayed here last week for one night on our road trip through the French Alps. If we had time we would have loved to extend our stay for or extra nights; what a lovely place. You will have to leave your car at the village car park. From there it is a pleasant stroll through the narrow streets of the village to the Auberge (you better travel light). Once in the Auberge the joy starts. The views into the valley of the Tinée River from both our room and the dining room are marvellous and overwhelming. And then the food. Chef, and owner, Deborah is a real talent and she surprised us with a dinner. Every dish was a piece of art at its own. Also the breakfast is not the ordinary French one. We were surprised with pancakes, grapefruit and fresh baked bread. So, in my opinion, this place is worth a detour. Thank you Deborah and staff for making our stay unforgettable.

Me and a friend are currently on a trip around Europe and featured this hotel in after coming across it by accident on google maps when looking at routes to drive through the Alps The best accident ever.. The room was clean with a selection of teas and coffees, and in the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied, along with towels. The beds were comfortable too Above all, what really stands out beyond any other hotel that we stayed during this holiday is the view out the window... Its spectacular. The room might not have a television but you could sit and look out the window all day and you wouldnt get bored of it But this is not just a hotel, on the ground floor there is also an amazing restaurant! Its a set course menu but the food was amazing! There is options, course and course, priced at and euros. Ive have never eaten in a Michelin star restaurant but I'd imagine it taste something like the meal that we were presented at this restaurant I cant say that I've ever eaten anything that was served to us before but it was all so good, well worth the money I didn't catch the names of the two owners but they clearly both really enjoy running the hotel and were very passionate about both the hotel and the food in the restaurant I will never forget this hotel and hope that one day I will be able to come back.

First, the view from the restaurant is stunning. You could easily be in the foothills of the Himalayas. Great food, lovely bedroom, very peaceful. Friendly staff. An interesting village to wander around.

Excellent location! Excellent service! Very friendly English speaking personnel. Getting there by car is not an easy thing, but it definetely worth it. Restaurant is perfect in both kitchen and service. Breakfast choice and quality meets an overall high standards.
