Where do I begin..? I first visited the restaurant's website to check out the menu and was excited about what they had to offer. I decided on an Irish-themed restaurant as I love Guinness and the atmosphere of Irish taverns. However, to my disappointment, there was no Guinness available. I settled for a scotch or a pale ale, but the beer options were limited to two Belgian Trappists and a Stella Artois. My wife and I noticed that the menu in the restaurant was different from what was advertised on the website. Despite this, I ordered the lamb crown advertised for €29 on the website, but it was priced at €34 on the menu and came with a hefty €2.50 portion of fries. My wife ordered an Italian tartare for €20. I requested a plate of "salted meats" to share for €19, but was disappointed by the presentation, which lacked variety and effort. My main course consisted of a small plate with a few slices of overly smoky gratin dauphinois and only four thin carrots in sauce. The small piece of meat was delicious but did not make up for the lack of sides. I had to ask for extra fries to satisfy my hunger. Despite the impeccable service, the meal was minimal and expensive. The extensive whiskey and gin selection may impress some, but if you're looking for a Guinness, you'll have to look elsewhere. Overall, the experience fell short of my expectations, and I left feeling unsatisfied.
Dining in at this restaurant cost approximately €90-100 per person and received a rating of 4 for both food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended dishes include the Foie Gras Terrine, Homemade Crème Brûlée, and Italian-style Beef Tartare.
