The sizzling black pepper beef was very salty and greasy, while the garlic salted pork was also overly oily, and all the meats were quite fatty. The fried squid, however, was perfect for me—I loved it! I had actually ordered pan-fried pork liver but received fried pork kidney instead, yet I enjoyed that dish as well! Overall, this is a decent spot for Taiwanese cuisine. I'll give it 3.5 stars because of the oily food and the prices, and also because they no longer offer discount menus.
This is the best authentic Taiwanese food in the US! I absolutely love this place. The service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. It's the perfect spot to bring my friends and family when we're in the mood for delicious Taiwanese cuisine. You really can't go wrong here!
The Taiwanese food here is fantastic and truly authentic. This was my first visit, inspired by the positive reviews, and I’m so glad I decided to try it out. Both the food and the service were excellent. My family can't wait to return. We feel lucky to have discovered this hidden gem in Rowland Heights!
One of my favorite places to get affordable taiwanese food. These pubs were common place years ago but harder to find now. I love their 3 cup pots, steamed crab with noodles and popcorn chicken. Friendly service and Kirin on tap makes me always a happy customer. Will be back soon.
Cold pitchers of beer and flavorful food plus good friends equal a great time at Cheers! This place has become a favorite and in regular rotation for group dinners. All their dishes are good and service consistent. Must try their famous 3 cup chicken and basil clams.
