Tea Lane - Rowland Heights

I really appreciate the laid-back atmosphere they offer, making it a perfect spot to relax with friends. The hookah is fantastic, and the drinks are even better! I absolutely love their strawberry banana smoothie, and for dessert, the churros with ice cream are simply the best!

This restaurant has been open for several years, and they recently completed renovations! The interior is now reminiscent of their Koreatown location, featuring a new secret door. The space is divided into a to-go area and a hookah lounge. I highly recommend visiting with friends to try the new drinks—my favorites are the 24K and the mango smoothie!

The redesign of this restaurant is incredibly impressive. I really enjoy coming here. The hookahs are clean and well-maintained. They also offer new Boba flavors that glow and sparkle, which is very cool. It might be slightly overpriced, but perhaps they're just trying to recoup the costs of the renovation. I highly recommend it!

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I ordered the Banana Milk Tea with half the sugar. It was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to come back next time to enjoy some hookah!

My only downside was the pricing; as an upscale hookah lounge, it is on the pricier side, although still reasonable. While a drink minimum isn't unusual, it can be a bit frustrating. The most concerning aspect for me was the 15% surcharge. We were just a party of two, and I prefer to tip in cash. This surcharge, in addition to tax, noticeably increased the total bill without any prior explanation. The fact that it’s labeled as a surcharge feels a bit dubious, as if there's a legal loophole being exploited to charge more without ensuring that it goes to the staff. I would rather tip accordingly based on my experience than deal with vague charges on a bill that’s already not cheap. Despite this issue, I had a great evening overall!
