2941 Street Food Bloomfield Hills

People rave about this place so I decided to go. Falafel and sauces were good. You can tell they cut up veggies for salads they just weren?t fresh. Maybe we went at a bad time? Rice seemed old too and was bottom of barrel. There was a piece of plasticbaked into our bread which I called to let them know so they can check everything else. The person who put together our foodseemed either sick or tired was very slow and dropping things and didn?t guide the process by letting me know how many thingsI could choose or stating what they were. I only say this because the other employee serving the person behind me was quick andasked them if they wanted things by name and told them ?you can choose 2 sauces?. Probably won?t go back unless they have newowners/employees or a better and even cleaner system going.

Food was delish. They should fix the drink machines though. UPDATE: I don't know how to reply, so I am editing my comment. The lemonade and guava passion fruit I had at the West Bloomfield location wasn't available here. I was told the machine broke sometime ago and you all haven't gotten it fixed. I came from Dearborn, and the juice was part of the reason. That alone took myreview from 5 stars to 3.

I'm just saying that because the other employee who was behind me was fast and she asked if they wanted to name and tell them? they can choose 2 sauces.? presumably not go back, unless they have new peculiarities / hired or a better and even cleaner system go.

Flavorful as always but it?s quite pricey. I understand everything is high nowadays but we left with a close to $50 bill for 2 honest bowls and 2 drinks. Over $50 with the tip for ?street food? is quite high.

The food was good but not hot at all... the warmest thing on my plate was my bread. I'd recommend that you tell them you want your food fresh because mine was the same temperature as my salad and that's not good at all.... if the food was sizzling hot I would have easily gave it 4 stars but cold steak, vegetables and rice did it for me
