A nice cozy place in the downtown of Royal Oak. We ordered Butterfly milk tea, Thai milk tea, spring rolls, chicken dumplings, Thai fried rice and Pineapple fried rice. Everything tasted so good. I would visit this place again.
Very solid Thai spot. Things can move a bit slow if they're busy, so budget your time accordingly. Prices are fair- about what you'd expect from a place downtown. Really cozy atmosphere makes for a pleasant dining experience.Food was above average compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. However, if you like spice, I think you need to be direct when ordering that you want it to be actually spicy. I went with medium spice on the fried rice and was warned it would be hot, and I'm not sure if they were just pulling their punches because I had told them it was my first time there, but it was really not that spicy.Definitely will return and see what else they have to offer.4 out of 5 forks.
Ordered additional vegetables. Don't feel that request was successfully executed.
Saab sis Thai is absolutely exceptional. The food is delicious, I absolutely love the restaurant, it is cozy and there is plenty of seating. It gets busy in the evenings! I like that there's a parking structure right in the front. I usually get the thai iced tea, pad thai and red curry and I'd have to say it's the best I've ever had! I'll definitely be back.
