Sake Sushi - Royal Oak

I recently visited this restaurant for a family birthday dinner and it exceeded my expectations! Our server Annie was exceptional - prompt, polite, and incredibly attentive. The takoyaki was served perfectly hot and not greasy, topped with a delicious sauce. The yum yum sauce was also a highlight and I recommend trying it on a dish or as a side. The Sunday morning roll was crispy and fresh, while the seafood bibimbap gave the option of being served in a hot stone bowl or not, making it versatile for different preferences. The only downside was a thick layer of lettuce in the bibimbap, which I found to be a bit overwhelming in taste and texture. The menu was on the pricier side, but the quality of the food definitely justified it. There were also plenty of vegetarian options available. Overall, a great dining experience that I look forward to repeating!

If you're unsure about what to order, they offer a menu of both Japanese and Korean dishes. It's the best of both worlds! The host will guide you in making a decision. Driving? They have a fantastic mocktail that I highly recommend trying! I can't remember the name of it, but you can look at the picture for reference. Thank you, Sake Sushi! We will definitely be returning.

The sushi at this restaurant was very fresh and came out quickly. It was absolutely delicious. Although the restaurant was small and cramped, if you are seeking fast service and excellent food, this is the perfect place to visit.

Unfortunately 3/6 of our group was food poisoned by the sushi here. We dined in on a Friday night.Edit: after some talk we realized the three of use who got sick all used the “gluten free soy sauce”

Upon arrival, we were shown to our table by a seemingly disinterested host. Little did we know that this would be the last bit of attention we would receive for the next 45 minutes. As we settled down, eagerly anticipating a delightful dining experience, we were left alone, completely ignored by thestaff. The bustling restaurant was clearly understaffed, and it became increasingly apparent that our table had fallen through the cracks. The worst part was seeing other patrons, who arrived after us, being promptly attended to by different waiters. The blatant favoritism left us feeling unimportant and disregarded.In an attempt to rectify the situation, we finally mustered the courage to flag down a passing waitress. Expecting an apology or a resolution, we were instead met with the most appalling response. The waitress, with an air of indifference, nonchalantly informed us that they were very busy as if that was an acceptable excuse for their incompetence. Her lack of empathy and dismissive attitude further compounded our frustration.It is truly disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism and courtesy in a dining establishment. As customers, we deserve to be treated with respect and attentiveness, regardless of how busy the establishment may be.
