Mario Bros Gourmet Pasta

Boy has this place gone downhill. We used to eat here all the time a couple of years ago. It’s too bad how terrible this experience was. As soon as we walked in we were told the bathrooms didn’t work. Then the ac quit working. The server forgot our salads and we waited 45 minutes for our appetizers. Then they messed up our order and later messed it up again and brought out the wrong food. The cook and the server were arguing back and forth and all my wife and I wanted to do was get out of there. This place is absolutely horrible. It’s a shame because we used to love the food there. We will NEVER return. You can’t go to a worse place. It won’t be around long. Absolutely no leadership or management whatsoever.

Last night we arrived at 7:30 with a group of 4. This was a birthday celebration and we had called earlier in the week to make arrangements and even talk to the staff about bringing in a special bottle of wine. When we arrived the young man that great us yelled out from back in the service area there would be a 90 minutes wait. We noticed there were empty tables and with our reservation something seamed very odd. So we left feeling dejected but we went right next door to las agaves Mexician restaurant. We were served fresh hot food and a very friendly staff. They even did a nice desert for the birthday girl and we had a great time. At 9.25 I called back to Mario Bros Restaurant and attempted to places an order to pickup but the young man on the phone said the restaurant was already closed. I walked over to the restaurant and found them open. Not happy at all that my favorite restaurant for years is unaware how it’s employees are treating the guests.

Server was very nice but unfortunately this place has terrible food. Never again! My stuffed shells were either frozen with white freezer rot marks and tough pasta or it was microwaved. Either way it’s a no go for us. I would also like to add Mario sent the server back to tell us they don’t use frozen…. Pretty sure our room temperature food was frozen. My meal was removed from our bill but they added the salad that came With the meal to our ticket! I did eat the salad so OK we paid for a separate salad.

I've been ordering from Mario's for YEARS. But tonight we ordered and I heard my mother give the complete order. Well, whenever we got there the lady said she didn't hear my mother order the Mediterranean Chicken Salad. She was very rude about it. SO my mother asked, ok well can we get one. The lady said it would be another 45 minutes to get one. That's not how you restaurant. FIRST, why did you get rid of the nice lady who used to take the orders? This new lady is clueless, and rude. We once ordered a pasta bolognese and she had no clue what it was, and couldn't pronounce it when she asked whoever if they had it on the menu. Learn the menu. I've worked in restaurants for many years and they should have made us the salad on the fly. 45 minutes for a salad? You're putting the order in the back of the line? Seriously? When YOU messed up. Either way, whether the lady heard my mother or not, this should have been handled professionally and not turn into a fight of who is wrong and who is right. Isn't the customer always right? Or does Mario's just lack that quality customer service? Also, we won't EVER be coming back to this place. Plus, the salad greens were all rotten (on the side salads) This place used to be so great, but is slowly going downhill. Fire the chick taking orders. You know the one, the older lady with the attitude. She's rude and not doing your business any favors. -unhappy used-to-be customer.

I've watched this place go down hill over the years but tonight took the cake I placed an order on door dash, waited the hour for my delivery and when it was supposed to be delivered they CANCELED MY ORDER so I sent my son there and they told us they only had 1 cook and were too busy to fulfill our dinner order......TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE I'VE BEEN GOING THERE SINCE IT OPENED USED TO GO TO THEIR PARENTS RESTAURANT. IVE NEVER SEEN THE SERVICE THIS BAD!
