I absolutely love this place. It’s a little hole in the wall. I have ate here a plethora of times over last couple years, and it’s always good. There is true consistency. The food is excellent and service is great. I order take out sometimes and they package it well. Sometimes their phones are down/busy but, I find if I wait 10 minutes and try again, I will get the restaurant. I would recommend the chicken wings, playboy roll, spider roll, volcano roll, kiss of the dragon roll, Mexican roll, sex on the beach roll, angry shrimp, curry puff, spring rolls, green or red curry, fried rice, pad Thai, whole fish, and duck. However, no one is perfect, and sometimes unexpected things happen. Last night, dinner was a bit delayed for us as we had been working hard, like most people, and decided to treat ourselves. Our regular waiter, Eli, greeted us at our usual table, and we asked about the meatball appetizer, opting to try the pork version. Eli took our drink order and returned for our dinner orders. So far, so good. As usual, the food came out quickly, but unfortunately, our meatballs were served alongside our main courses. After tasting them, we both agreed that they weren’t as delicious as they usually are, so we decided not to eat them and pushed the plate aside. The rest of our meal was largely as expected, with the exception of the Tom Kha soup. I’ve ordered that soup many times and loved it, but this time it was different—different mushrooms and a few other unusual ingredients made it less enjoyable than previous visits. To my disappointment, our waiter did not return to check on how we were enjoying our meal. He did bring the check, and my wife asked if we could receive a credit for the appetizer. I was shocked by what happened next. Our waiter became hostile and angrily shouted at my wife, saying she should have spoken up sooner so he wouldn't have to update the bill. At this point, we requested to speak with a manager to address the situation, and I informed her how embarrassing this was for my wife. When the manager came over, before we could explain what had happened, she insisted that we should have flagged someone down and implied it was our fault somehow, adding that everyone loves this restaurant. The attitude and aggression we faced were unbelievable, especially since she didn’t even listen to our side. It was a completely embarrassing experience. While the manager was addressing us, Eli returned and became agitated and confrontational. I told the manager I felt very uncomfortable, yet she didn’t ask Eli to back off or lower his voice. I expressed that she had failed to provide a safe environment for us. She assured me she would handle it. The core issue was that the food wasn’t right. Eli didn’t serve the appetizer in a timely manner, delivering it with the main courses instead. He never checked back to ensure we were satisfied with our food. When we finally spoke up, we were publicly embarrassed with loud, aggressive comments. This experience was simply unacceptable. I can’t help but wonder if this was just a bad day or if this is the new norm at Peppermint Tia. I won’t forget this experience, and I’ll be sure to share it with as many people as possible for years to come.

This place is a staple in Royal Palm in the county to be honest. They've been in business for years I can see why. When ordering out, be patient. They are always very busy at time the phone is busy. It's worth the wait it has never disappointed my entire family. I HIGHLY recommend this place !!! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
