Schlosscafé - Rudolstadt

We were here for the first time. I have to say it was just wonderful. Everything was right here. From ambience to service to food. I would like to highlight the advice. There were various beef offers. Asked about the differences, origin and so on. Everything has been explained to me and a recommendation has been made. I took the recommendation and it was just fantastic. I'd come back anytime. Of course not cheap, but I personally think the good kitchen has to have a price with excellent service. Keep going.

Were there just for dinner and it was really fucking delicious. The meat was on the spot and the side dishes and sauces were also very delicious. We like to come back...

The initial difficulties to find the way from the parking lot to the restaurant were quickly forgotten. A very warm welcome by the service team when entering the restaurant immediately lifted the mood again. The view and the ambience are simply great! I haven't received such a good meal for a long time. The service always accommodating and friendly. I'd give 6 stars if it were!! My Resümee: Very recommended!!! I'd say there's something else for his money. Go on!

Mr. Fischer and his team at the Meatwerq Bar BQ have hosted our wedding in July 2022. We left our pre-wedding party on the day before the wedding with about 80 guests (in the restaurant and at the lower level of Heidecksburg/ in front of the restaurant) as well as the wedding celebrations on the following day with approx. 160 guests align (including champagne reception, coffee/pie under the tree alley on the middle level of Heidecksburg, table buffet in the riding hall, midnight snack). The location with a view over Rudolstadt is dreamy and already to the pre-winning party we could hardly believe what wonderful ambience and great service our wedding should invite. The BBQ buffet was unique and high quality. The coffee drink on the wedding day under the tree alley was like a true dream (it hurt a lukewarm summer ventilator, the trees donated shade, a wonderful ambience) and the table buffet at the evening in the riding hall was excellent over all dimensions. From the start to the end, the team has done great things and we as a bridal couple as well as our guests were delighted with the friendly and fast service and the exceptionally good food as well as the drinks. We cannot thank Mr Fischer and his team enough for making our wedding through his perfect service something absolutely exquisite and unique. The restaurant is stylish and modern. The service is courteous and friendly. I had the rib eye steak. For my feelings, it was a bit too thin, but tastefully it was completely fine. The offer is great, there are really dishes on the map that you do not always find.
