Indian Kitchen - Rugby

I recently moved into the neighborhood and found an Indian and Chinese restaurant right on my doorstep. I decided to try them out, but unfortunately I was disappointed. My balti was bland and overly salty, my naan bread was doughy and unappetizing, and my coconut rice lacked any sweetness. I have had much better takeout in Rugby and do not plan on returning to Brownsover again, despite its convenient location. I am feeling a bit underwhelmed now.

While waiting for my order, the shop was freezing cold and dirty. I even overheard someone complaining about their last order. I won't be returning in a hurry. It was much better when it first opened.

Ordered a takeaway for myself and the mrs. Delivery was quick and food was still hot. The food was one of the best takeaway I have had in Rugby. Great job guys

Once I got home, I found that the starter and poppadoms were decent, but the main dish (mixed biriyani) was terrible. It had a bitter taste and I ended up throwing most of it away, along with the chewy and tasteless nan bread. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food and service and will not be returning to this restaurant.

Don’t be put off by the location or appearance of this takeaway. Having visited on a number of occasions and eaten a variety of dishes, I can highly recommend it.
