However, this was still closed. My husband suggested to go back to the Hubertushaus and bridge the time for lunch. At 12 o'clock we were lucky to get a table on the terrace in front of the building where we settled. We hardly sat, a friendly service brought us the card and asked for the drinks. With a beautiful sunshine and a lukewarm velvet we chose refreshing common wheat beer. The selection of the menu with Thüringer Schmeckewöhlerchen was very difficult for us. We'd rather have ordered the card. There were Schnitzel, Braten, Gulasch, hausmacher Schalsülze, the obligatory Thüringer Rostbratsl, Thüringer Klöse, a seasonal asparagus dish and even Dätscher potato pancakes in various variations. The water came together in our mouth at the eyes of the dishes that are passed through the virtuous service power. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait for the dishes we ordered shortly after, although the restaurant was very well visited at the best lunch time. Schnitzel and Gulasch have tasted very well. The Schnitzel was tender and juicy, the roast potatoes and mushrooms tastefully very round. Gulach and Thüringer Klos and Rotkrauterwies are also a very good choice. Both sections were plentiful and saturating hiker sections. Personally, I would have given the carving a senior part, but my husband came to help me. We did not pay a total of €30 plus a reasonable tip. The next time I have to try the thieves, because the gold-yellow buffers really went great. Depending on the variant, you will receive a correct proportion of apple or salmon for less than 10 €. The announcement next time shows that we would like to come back here and recommend the inn. I can't judge the hotel rooms. In the accompanying booklet they simply looked out, but tidy as it is typical of a hiking hostel. For hikers on the Rennsteig, this hotel is definitely an option. Parking can be seen as on the photo I uploaded right in front of the inn.
Was there with friends. In the 1st run (12:00) everything is already occupied. Should come 1/2 hours later, and it worked. Very rich, not just our serving. When the plates are always so filled, no one is hungry. The service was quick and friendly. This restaurant had long closed but had been open for about 4 years. We wish all hikers and of course also those who arrive nice hours by car. The restaurant is located directly on the Rennsteig, so very convenient and easy to reach from Ruhla by car or on foot (see it on [here link] .
