Denny's - Ruidoso Downs

I took 7 of my co workers to breakfast, we all are cooks at a Local Rat Hole Farley's, We do Not Eat the Food where we work.Our food was great, we all had Gran Slams of one sort or another. Mine was yum so i will have breakfast here again.

Was seated in 3 different tables before they said we could stay there. Only one cup of coffee waited for another and never got it. Toast came after I was done eating with no jelly. Waited 10 minutes for our bill but never received one. Went to check out and no one would take our money. I had to yell across the hole diner for someone to take our money. Service was so bad I didn't even leave a tip.Gave one star because I couldn't give a zero.As we were leaving, we could smell sewage.

If horrible food had a name it would be Dennys ruidoso . The young man serving the food was great . The location was very nice . But the food was horrible . Zero care or concern for quality or presentation . I can say the coffee was great . I don’t know if the cook was having a bad day or if the janitor was filling in for the night . Eat here at your own risk . It was 8:30 at night so maybe day shift is better , but I will never know because I won’t be back

I have beendriving by this place weekly and always wanted to stop. Looks like a nice place, nostalgic and all. Looked them up on Google as I was headed that way from El Paso. Google showed them being open 24hrs, so I skipped all the restaurants between there and El Paso. Slowed down as I get to the restaurant. There were no customers at that time. I can see a fella mopping and a short waitress. I pull in and park across the road. I can see the waitress at the front door and then she dissappearred. I walk across the street and get to the door. It's locked, tried the other door, same thing. There is a paper sign that states that they close at 11:30pm. I look at my watch, it's 11:10pm. If there had been an emergency, a mechanical issue, OK. Come to the door and say something. But locking the door as soon as you see a potential customer pulling up is just **** Poor Relations.
