This place is the best place in town to get a handcrafted cocktail. When you enter, you have the front of the house that is more about coffee and tea when you pass at the back of the building, there is a small bar and many great seating areas. There is a fireplace in the middle of a section with chairs around him, then there is a large room with a stage that they have live music on weekends. There are garage doors that open them in summer, which make the inner flow into the outside, which overlooks the river back. There are a variety of decks you can go and relax and enjoy nature. Your menu was pretty simple, but well done. They are in the middle of the roasting their kitchen so that the menu has shrunk a lot, but their pizza is on point. The bartender Josh makes amazing cocktails with spirits made in the house.
My family and I visited Monday and our experience was ALMOST perfect! GREAT atmosphere! Absolutely delicious coffee, breakfast croissants and pastries. We unfortunately experienced a small Hiccup with service while we visited what is the reason for 4 out of 5 stars. We ordered 3 cinnamon rolls on arrival in addition to our coffee and croissants and then drove to our table to wait for a text that was confirmed our order was ready. When we got the text, we got our 2 croissants and none of our pastries. I warned the cashier who took our order and went on to hand over 2 cold cinnamon rolls and recommended that they were made of cinnamon rolls and that we could get something else (maybe done with toddlers). Then we had to ask them to warm our pastries. We advised there were 3 cinnamon rolls when we ordered and she was totally unapologetic. We loved it so much that we visit again and hope for a better customer service experience.
Finally a café that made it right. Tonnes of seats inside and outside. Multi-level deck along the river. Great customer service and fast service. I met Cades from the coast to the coast and this is in the top 10%. Well done.
Matcha is to die for extremely delicious plus not that bad of a turkey sandwich. The young lady at the counter was super friendly. I would definitely come back but this time with a crowd. Thank you all for the excellent service.
