Had an excellent stay here for a night. charming old building and host. a special recommendation when they are a fan of the glamour.
Small rooms, but enough when they travel alone. but the atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is great.
The guest house roundhaug was not updated very long. it has many amazing history that goes back over a century, but the accommodation requires an update. for example, the heating does not turn off means that the hotel is very hot (both in the bedroom and restaurant . not a problem except when the windows are left open, there are many mosquitoes around (this during the early hours after they were refined on my body. the breakfast is served with all the festive film still for the guests, not quite the correct service in consideration of the cost of accommodation. in addition there are many flying in the restaurant. another ursache to let all windows open by excessive heat. my last point would be the fact that in the summer it is daylight 24 hours per day the curtains in the rooms are absolutely terrible and not suitable for purpose. the sun comes through to all hours, the bad nights sleep (even after draping towels etc. black out blinds cost not much and would not distract from the character of the place, but would significantly improve the experience of the guests. I am pretty sure that amanda sandmo would not have allowed this kind of service if it ran dinge!
