Very well cooked, especially the fries which were light and crispy and the egg, firm white runny center. The tea was too milky and the bag was left in. I would ask for this to be different next time and perhaps I should have been asked how I like it but on the whole I was not disappointed. Simple well cooked food. Great value. Lots of people in there of all types, plenty of room and very clean. Be aware it’s cash only. I will be back.
Very poor. They only accepted cash, which isn’t ideal during a pandemic. They also got one of our meals completely wrong and took such a long time to correct it that the other person had finished their meal before the correct meal arrived. And when that meal did arrive, it was very badly cooked.
Well priced and good quality food. Friendly staff and great location. One of the best cafes in Chertsey.
We chose to have breakfast here twice during our visit to Chertsey and both times the breakfasts for our family were delicious. There is a good menu with loads of choice and a selection for vegetarians as well. The prices and portions are good. Efficient friendly service and the waiters were helpful. One day we sat inside the cafe and the next day out in the seating area in the shopping arcade. All tables were socially distanced for COVID-19. There were newspapers and magazines to read. We loved the cappuccino too Would have given five stars but not keen on having to pay by cash. We never use cash and this was a little bit of an inconvenience and not the most hygienic option right now. Highly recommended for breakfast though.
Breakfast for 3.. well 2 and a bit. 2 of us had the mega breakfast, was cooked well, poached eggs were spot on. Son had toast. Good vfm. Will visit again when next staying at the Travelodge in Chertsey.
