Eagles Den - Rusk

This was my second visit to this restaurant, and I have to say I'm puzzled by the negative reviews. This eatery delivered exactly what I expected from a small-town spot in East Texas. The dining area was clean, and the tables were well-kept. Our waitress was quick and efficient; she knew the menu well and offered great recommendations for our order. Now, about the food—take a look at the menu and the prices. It's been a long time since I've seen such reasonable prices for the generous portion sizes you receive. The servings were huge! The beef on the burgers was delicious, and the onion rings were fantastic. Our drinks were refilled without us even asking. Give this place a try; I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!

This restaurant embodies everything you’d expect from a charming little café in East Texas. It’s not the kind of spot you rush through, even though we didn’t have to wait long for our meals. It’s a gathering place for locals to enjoy a meal and discuss upcoming high school sports stars and how the weather affects their ranches. It truly offers a cultural experience. The burgers are fantastic, and the onion rings are freshly made. Everything here is delightful!

They serve fantastic burgers, fries, and onion rings. I can’t wait for Wednesday’s baked potatoes, they're a true highlight! Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable. This might just be the best-kept secret in Rusk, Texas!
