La Casita - Ruskin

This is a small Mexican shop and restaurant in Ruskin. The staff was friendly. The food was good, although the portions were small. The menu is not very clear and the check was not displayed so prices were confusing. They had no choice of Mexican desserts, just bagged ice cream in a cooler.

Bad customer service . I ordered chicharron tacos thinking they would be soft in salsa but they were ROCK HARD chunks . She still charged me for them even though I did not eat them. No 5 star restaurant treats their guests that. Go anywhere nice, they’ll take the food back and apologize. Clearly they only money hungry can care less to make loyal clients. Last time ever I’m spreading word of mouth too. Idk her name but it was some fat short big girl with black hair and really bad makeup .

Excellent food, large portions, very friendly staff.

I’ve been eating La Casita since I was around 10 y/o. It’s a Ruskin stable and I literally drive a hour away just to fgey my “fix” because it soooo GOOD.

The owners from this restaurant are so rude and disrespectful, they rather throw away the salsa in front on my face them to let me take it and still have the nerve to want to give me another but charge me for it. Never again they should appreciate the people that go to there restaurant and have manners. If I could give zero stars I would
