The Duke Of Marlborough - Russell

From England, for us, the Bay of Islands and particularly Russell, is one of our favourite places. The Duke of Marlborough sits firmly at the top of our list of favourite Hotels here. A trip to New Zealand for our daughter's wedding in March was a great opportunity to visit the area again and we were lucky enough to book a table for four. A fabulous place, the menu superb, as was the quality of food and presentation. Service is excellent and both inside and outside, stunning views. Thoroughly recommended, a must visit place... Such an iconic old hotel. Beautifully maintained, great service a roaring fire, great musician .It was a treat to enjoy an atmosphere with some beautiful relics of the past. A shame we could only stay one night.Thank you. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
