Sam's Southern Eatery (russellville)

This is just a cute hole in the wall type of restaurant. if you like fried food, this is the place to be. But I ordered a gyro and it was fried and it didn't taste like a gyro.

A little expensive, but the food was excellent! Best fried fish I've had in over 3 years. They give you alot. So it's not too bad. Loved

Trash Mac and Cheese. How do you make Mac and cheese with zero flavor. The shrimp po boy was a 2 out of 5. The only thing that was hitting was the red beans and rice and that’s sad.

Shrimp was good but the oysters were terrible! If restaurants like Sam's could understand that less is best when it comes to seasoning and battering oysters the better. Plus smaller oysters are much better! The price was kinda high but everything else was okay.

Fantastic southern comfort food. Generous portions and great service at a modest price. I would've expected to pay at least 20% more than I did for what we received.
