El Jarrito Mexican Grill - Ruston

Salsa was delicious, service was a little slow, because from several large to church groups. the one we sat had to be 20 people at least and were so loud that we could hardly hear our own conversation. Eating was okay.

A friend of mine told me that this place was in his top 3 Mexican joints in the opposite, so I gave it an attempt on the way to home of jackson, ms. that is an older building, but my friend says he likes this better than the new ones that they built on the next descent. I sat fast, but it took a few minutes to get chips salsa and take my order for her. they did not seem to work many people on this Friday night. but I am sure that much of the traffic has moved to their new location. I enjoyed the chips salsa, they were above average for our opposite. I ordered the steak street tacos and they were excellent. the steak had such a great taste and was tender in contrast to most Mexican restaurants. steak seems to be one of her specialties from the menu. will I have gone back? this answer is definitiw. I can't wait to take my wife and see what she thinks. we love our Mexican food.

So they visit this restaurant for the first time, I am from georgia. ciara is our server and I ask her for drinks specialties. ciara tells me they only get a free margarita. so I and my mom ordered one since she was on my ticket. we ordered our food and it wasn't the best. I love mexican and I? eat in many Mexican restaurants and by far it was the worse. what made it even worse is at the end, ciara tells us that the special pro person is. I'm so good you didn't say that first and since I got my mom on my ticket that's my second drink. then she tells the manager and he tries to explain, then he tells us that he is for plastic goods. I'm like hm, then he says they're not. then ciara brings out the bill and never asked if we were together or separated. then the bill has a service fee and I ask what?s that for them said for the use of a credit card, but again, that has not been forwarded and how do they know that we have a credit card? oh and to overbid it, she tells me that she was a server there for 2 years, anddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd overall the customer service was terrible and the food was not good. I'm not going to be important!

Service mediocre at best. Food decent but for the price I expected better though presentation was great your food should follow. I ordered the ribeye medium rare came well done. Once a party showed up we never saw our waiter again and we saw him twice. Not the worst it was good but for the price your money could be better spent elsewhere

I am being generous with giving this place a 1 star because the option for a 0 star was not given!!! WHERE DO I BEGIN?.1?this was the MOST DISGUSTING ? PLACE I?ve ever been in. 2? food was cold and nasty. Tostado was cold, nasty and raw. Chips were greasy and stale. Cheese enchilada was not done? the corn tortilla was raw. Refried beans were just ok. Guacamole and salsa was good. The taco barely had any cheese. 3 the tables outside had food left over on them when we arrived and was still there when we left. 4 They wiped the food that was left on the tables (when they finally decided to ?clean? onto the floor, with us sitting there watching!!! SO DISGUSTING!!! Not sure how ANYONE would give them a one star rating let alone a five star rating!!! Unless they?re being paid!!! I will be reporting this restaurant to the LA HEALTH DEPARTMENT!!!
