We always love it here, and this time we brought a guest who said it was the best meal he had during his two-week stay in Vermont. The food is always so fresh and tasty and the service is great. Thanks so much!

Roots prides itself on serving a menu that 's sourced from local producers. It is well-prepared and the helpful servers will actually answer questions about portion size, preparation and preferences. Overall, I find the vibe to be good quality and relaxed execution. This is a good safe restaurant for friends and visitors who don 't want overly exotic or spicy food.

Food and service is consistently very good. Inside dining can be a little noisy because the restaurant is open and mostly concrete floors. Outside dining is very nice when weather is agreeable.

Always a pleasure to be at Roots. I'm a regular but it's a fun and unique experience every time. The constants are good drinks, good food, great people and service. Thanks!

The steak frites were not very flavorful (a little burnt and bland). I mostly paid for fries with that meal. The salad was amazing though and the dessert was so delicious! Great drink options as well!
